The "King of the North" grape, a cross that was found growing in the wild at Madison, Wisconsin, between Vitis labrusca and Vitis riparia, produces dark blue, medium/large sized berries with high acidity. Disease resistant. Makes great jelly, good tasting juice and a good "Concord" style wine. Large, tight clusters that can be left on until after a frost to fully ripen. Very vigorous grower, growing 20' in a season.
